For the second week in a row we're working under Wheel of Fortune energy, this time with a Two of Cups jumper. Seeing this card two weeks in a row is the Universe's version of that V8 commercial where the person gets smacked in the forehead for not eating their vegetables. Fate may have outlined our path for us, but if we don't do the work and walk forward under our own power, we'll remain stuck in place. We live in a world of entitlement and instant gratification, and as a society we've forgotten what it means to actually work for something. This week, it's time to get to work. They say good things come to those who wait, but what about great things? I want great things, so I'm not content to simply wait around for them. All things worth having in this life take effort, whether it's a job or a relationship or a work of art.

The Two of Cups jumper tells us that although we must work hard to achieve our goals, we don't have to do it alone. It is not shameful or weak to lean on others. In fact, it's a sign of strength. Can you imagine if one person tried to build the pyramids of Giza alone? Do you know any great parents who didn't hire a babysitter when they needed time to recharge? Have you ever heard of a farmer who tilled his land and cared for his livestock all on his own? Everyone needs help. Look to the people in your life who care about you this week, and say yes when they ask if you need anything. This could also be an opportunity to strengthen new relationships. When a new friend asks about what you do, don't give them a vague answer. Trust them with your struggles, and it just might bond you further.

Spider reminds us that creativity can always be found in our life's work. While it's true that we need to work hard to meet our goals, we shouldn't be working so hard that our goals become a source of disdain. The work itself should be a source of joy. The spider's web is a means by which to catch prey to feed and sustain the spider, but it's also a beautiful work of art. If you get discouraged or overwhelmed this week, try approaching your work differently to spice things up a bit. Get creative. Find joy in your work, and it will stop feeling like work and more like play.

The Last Quarter Moon tells us to release those things that no longer serve us, particularly those things in our mind and our inner being. Now that we're forging ahead on our destined path, it's time to let go of the thoughts and ideas that have been holding us back. Get rid of the fears and doubts. Get rid of the negativity. Get rid of all the lies your brain tells you. Remind yourself that you are good enough, that you can do this. Tell yourself whatever you need to, even if you don't believe it yet. If you say it loud and long enough, one day it will be true.
