Herbal Update and the Future of Jordyn Myah
A couple months ago I wrote about some exciting new things I was starting, and I figured it was time for an update. Tarot reading is going well. I'm really enjoying doing these weekly Intuition Exchanges. Ya'll have given me such great feedback, and I love that you love my readings. Private readings are going well, too. I was nervous at first, opening myself up to read for others, but the feedback there has been wonderful as well. If you haven't had a reading from me yet (or if you want another one), you can find my offerings and book a reading here.
As for my herbal endeavors, things are moving along nicely. In addition to reading every book on herbalism I can get my hands on, I'm also taking Rosemary Gladstar's course, The Science and Art of Herbalism. I feel so at home with herbs, like I was always meant to work with them. I've always been a bit of a tea fanatic, so making teas has been especially lovely. There are so many incredible things about the world we live in today, but we've forgotten the wonders of yesterday. Learning these ancient traditions and practices feels so powerful, like tapping right into our ancestral memory.
As I continue to learn and hone my own practice, I'm also coming up with a plan for my business in the months to come. The business side of things is a lot less enjoyable than the artistic side of things, but I don't dread it like I used to dread my old job. It's hard work, but I feel good doing it. It's like the pleasure you find in sore muscles the day after a good workout. It feels good to have a plan, a purpose.
As a side note, I'm in the process of deciding which products to offer when the shop opens. If there's anything in particular that ya'll want to see in the shop, let me know! And thanks again for all your support. This community is beautiful, and I love you all.
