Exciting New Things In the Works
For the past couple months I've decided to really start turning my blog into my business. I've had a really difficult time finding a "normal" job (thanks, terrible job market), so I decided that if I'm going to put all my time and effort into something it might as well be something I love.
In addition to blogging more regularly, I also now offer tarot readings. I really love reading for people, and from what they tell me, people love when I read for them. Hooray for that! I want to work with you all, so check out the link if you want a reading.
I also recently bought some books on herbalism. I've always loved herbalism, and know a little about it, but I want to know more because I want to start making stuff for you all. Teas, candles, anointing oils, perfumes. The opportunities are endless. I'm not quite sure when the shop will open, but I will keep you updated, so keep your eyes peeled.
I've also got a new logo! I loved my old logo, but I saw this font and it just called to me. I kept the moon, though, because the moon is one of my best guides and I couldn't bear to let it go. I really love this new, magical, witchy logo, and I hope ya'll do too.
For a while I thought about changing the name of this site. When I decided that I'd eventually open a shop here, I wasn't sure just using my name would suit that. I did a lot of brainstorming, and I came up with a few names I like. I couldn't come up with one that I loved, though. None of them seemed to fully encompass what I want this space to be. In the end, I decided to just stick with my name. I still have the option to rename this site in the future, if I want, but for now, it's just me.
I'm really excited about all this new stuff, and, for the first time in a long time, I feel really good. I'm still living at home, and I'm totally broke, but I feel like I'm on the right path instead of wandering around not even able to find the damn path. It's been a crazy and at times intense journey, but I'm glad ya'll have been here with me, and I hope you stick around.
