Hi, I'm Jordyn Schwersky, the founder of Mystic Sister. I'm an herbalist, tarot reader, writer, and intuitive. I believe all of us have a connection to the spiritual and the unseen, whether we know it or not, and if you're here you probably want to explore that connection. Welcome.
My first spiritual teacher was my mother. She showed me the magic of astrology, crystals, and tarot. She taught me how to trust my intuition, and as I grew older, I tapped into that side of myself more and more. I finally decided to offer my magic to others after doing some deep tarot- and soul-work with Lindsay Mack. She helped me realize that if I waited to give back to others until I felt like I knew enough, I'd never be ready. So I began offering tarot readings, and those initial offerings sparked something in me.
I had been making my own bath and beauty products for a while, and I loved their healing powers, so I decided to dive even deeper into herbal magic. I took Rosemary Gladstar's course on the Science and Art of Herbalism, and learning from Rosemary helped me reconnect to the Earth and her gifts in both practical and spiritual ways. That combination of practicality and spirituality where I find the most powerful rituals and remedies, and thus Mystic Sister was born.
Mystic Sister is a combination of apothecary products, tarot offerings, and witchy writings. My herbal products are all created from ethically sourced plants and plant-based materials, and my ingredient lists are small. I believe in the power of safe, simple medicine, so every ingredient has a purpose. My tarot readings are more like guided therapeutic conversations than one-way fortune telling. I can't tell you who to date or when to quit your job, but I can help you find a little order in the chaos and give you advice on how to move forward. I don't read at you; I read with you, and we work together to figure things out.
There's a massive reawakening happening in the world right now, a return to the old ways, to the Earth and to the ancestors. My goal is for Mystic Sister to be not just a place you come to buy your skincare and move on but to be a place of refuge and of learning. I hope you find that here.
